Entrance Examination - Medicine
Since the 2013-2014 academic year, UMONS has held an entrance examination for students wishing to study medicine. This test is compulsory and is held twice a year in July and September. It is a multiple-choice exam and is held at the same time in the 5 Universities of the French Community of Belgium.
Only students who can provide proof of having sat this exam will be able to register for the first year of the Bachelor’s degree in Medicine.
Passing the entrance examination does automatically grant access to this course; prospective students must still prove that they meet all the other criteria to be able to study at UMONS.
In accordance with the decree of 2006, non-resident students still have to particiapte in the ballot for the admissions quota even after having taken the entrance exam. For additional information regarding the application procedure for courses with admissions quotas, click here.
