UMONS ONCE MORE GIVEN ‘VERY GOOD’ RESULTS FOR THE 2015 EDITION OF THE U-MULTIRANK UNIVERSITY RANKING
The results of the 2nd Edition of U-Multirank were released on the 30th March 2015, and UMONS was once again awarded very good scores. The university is among the 12% of the 1200 higher education institutions evaluated which have a performance rating of “very good”, with more than 10 “A” scores.
UMONS and ULB researchers prove the existence of neutrinos in the journal "Science"
The details of this discovery are published in the world famous scientific journal "Science". Conducted by many, including researchers from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the University of Mons (UMONS), this investigation has led to a scientific breakthrough which will allow for a better understanding of extreme phenomena, such as black holes and supernovae.
UMONS Vice-Rector awared Grand Prix from French National Polymer Association
Professor Philippe Dubois, Vice-Rector for Research at UMONS, was awarded the Grand Prix from the French National Polymer Association (GPF). This award recognises the career and work of a researcher in the field of polymers.
