Research Themes

Our main research themes (non-exhaustive list) include:

  • Studying the effects of renewable energy sources on electrical transmission and distribution networks (especially wind turbines). Reliability is the main focus and development of this research topic.
  • Applications of power electronics in electric traction.
  • Studying composite conductors in overhead power lines
  • Numerical computation of electromagnetic fields in electrotechnical systems, mainly in electrical machines.
