Last May, the University of Salamanca and the United Nations Department for General Assembly and Conference Management organized the first Conference of the Universities that signed with the United Nations a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in preparing candidates for the United Nations Language Competitive Examinations (MoU Conference). Its aim was to achieve closer cooperation between the universities that agreed to participate in the rejuvenation of the pool of the United Nations language professionals. On May 3rd and 4th, 2012, the University of Mons, Belgium, will host the second MoU Conference to further the cooperation between the universities that agreed to participate in this ambitious programme.
